We bring that moment to birthday parties across the North East, spinning fresh candy floss and popping warm popcorn right there at the celebration.
Everything is made in front of your guests. No pre-made bags sitting on a table. The kids (and quite a few of the adults) usually end up watching the machine as much as they eat the stuff. A lot of people add the popcorn stall as well. It’s a nice savoury option so guests aren’t only eating sweets all afternoon, and it’s popped fresh on the day rather than sitting around. Classic salted or caramel are the usual ones.
It works for all sorts of parties. We’ve done little ones’ birthdays with bouncy castles and themes, and we’ve also done grown-up milestone birthdays where people want something a bit more low-key. The approach is the same either way, fresh, simple, and made on the spot.
