We get asked a lot of questions about what happens when we arrive at an event, so here’s exactly what you can expect when you book Candy Floss Events.

Arrival → Setup → Serving → Clearing Away

Once we arrive at your venue, we bring everything needed for the service and get the stall set up ready for your guests.

Our stalls are approximately 3ft x 3ft, so we don’t need a huge amount of space. We do need suitable access to the serving area and normally just one household electrical socket, along with our own long extension lead.

Once we’re set up, that’s when the fun starts! 🎉

What We Serve

🍭 Candy Floss – We make the candy floss fresh in front of your guests, serving it throughout your booked service.

🍿 Popcorn – Our popcorn is cooked live and served fresh, rather than being pre-popped and left sitting in a warmer.

There’s no handing you a machine and leaving you to figure it out. We provide the equipment, the serving and the experience.

How Long Do We Stay?

Our bookings are based around your agreed service time, with 2 hours being our usual package. We can also provide longer services where required.

We’ll agree the timings with you beforehand and make sure we’re ready for service at the right point in your event.

How Many Staff?

Your booking includes a professional server, with staffing arranged around the service you’ve booked. When both candy floss and popcorn are being provided, we can arrange the service accordingly so both are looked after properly.

Food Safety, Hygiene & Allergens

Because we’re serving food, this is something we take seriously.

We have the relevant food safety, hygiene, allergen, PLI and PAT documentation required for our events, and we’re used to working with wedding venues, schools, universities, corporate venues and public events.

We use established commercial equipment and ingredients, and we’re happy to provide our allergen information to event organisers and venues where required.

Full ingredient and allergen details are available on our Nutrition page. We’d always recommend that guests with allergies speak to us before consuming any product so we can provide the relevant information for the products being served.

Where Do We Work?

We’re based in the North East and regularly travel across Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead, Carlisle, Sunderland, County Durham, Northumberland and the wider region.

We’ve supplied events at venues including Websters Ropery, Beamish Hall, Horton Grange, Langley Castle, Slaley Hall, Hardwick Hall, St James’ Park and Spanish City, as well as hundreds of private parties, weddings, university events, school events and corporate functions.

So whether you’re planning a Newcastle birthday party, North East wedding, corporate event, university night or family celebration, we bring everything with us and take care of the service from start to finish.
